NEWSPAPER PROJECT - YEAR 25-26
During the school year 22-23 we started a School Newspaper and it's our task to become Year 5 Reporters and continue with El Faro Journal.
We had three main tasks when we started:
1. SCHOOL'S NEWSPAPER NAME
The task to find a name for our school newspaper. So, here we have some ideas that inspired our imagination ...
There are words that are commonly used for newspaper names:
- Journal
- News
- Daily / Weekly
- Information
- Gazette
- Express
- Report
- Chronicle
- Star
- Observer
- Independent
Many newspapers also have the name of the city where they are printed.

3. LEARN ABOUT THE SECTIONS IN A NEWSPAPER
And here we are again with our new Year 5 reporters who are ready to become journalists.
First, we are working on the newspaper itself: sections and elements.
After that, we are going to concentrate on expanding sections of El Faro Journal, such as Sports, Music, Entertainment, Bookflix, and adding new ones.
